Shared problem definition
Align the people involved around the user, operational bottleneck, desired outcome, and constraints that matter.
A TF Technology Solutions program
WISEWorthwhile Ideas, Systematically Explored. The WISE Program is a selective, paid discovery partnership for research teams, mission-driven organizations, and early-stage operators with an important idea and an unclear route to a responsible first version.
Why WISE exists
A compelling concept is not yet a product plan. The fastest way to drain a limited budget is to begin development before the users, evidence, workflow, data, risks, and decision criteria are understood.
WISE creates that shared understanding first. The engagement is intentionally bounded, useful on its own, and designed to make the next investment easier to defend.
A concrete discovery package
Exact deliverables are shaped around the question the organization must answer. A typical engagement can include:
Align the people involved around the user, operational bottleneck, desired outcome, and constraints that matter.
Trace the experience, decisions, handoffs, data, and source material the future product must support.
Make the core experience concrete enough to review with stakeholders before committing to production development.
Compare practical implementation paths, including data boundaries, integrations, approved AI, and open-weight alternatives where relevant.
Identify privacy, security, human-review, accessibility, and organizational dependencies early.
Leave with recommended scope, sequencing, assumptions, budget range, and an explicit next-step decision.
The path
We begin with the problem, the people affected, the decision you need to make, and the constraints already known.
Over approximately two to four weeks, we review existing evidence, map the workflow, test assumptions, and shape a directional prototype.
You receive a clear recommendation: proceed, narrow the idea, validate something first, choose another path, or stop before unnecessary build cost.
A strong fit
WISE is selective so the engagement can remain direct, senior-led, and genuinely useful.
Partner-rate engagements
When a project is an exceptional fit, TF may propose a Reference Partner Discount in exchange for specific, mutually approved reference or portfolio rights. The standard fee, discount, net fee, approval process, and permitted uses are documented before work begins.
Participation does not automatically grant TF the right to use an organization's name, logo, testimonial, project details, or personnel as a reference. Nothing is published without the required written approval, and public materials must not imply endorsement, sponsorship, or validation.
WISE is not a grant, accelerator, free-build program, or promise of production development. It is a paid professional-services engagement with a defined scope, timeline, and decision-ready outcome.
